Before her death, Carolyn Wendrich established a Fund at The Community Foundation to benefit programs serving victims of crime. She worried over stories about neighbors – whom she likened to playful, trusting otters – as she watched them make themselves vulnerable and saw them get preyed upon all too often. It was her hope that over time, this Fund would grow both in size and in its ability to show victimized members of our community that we care.
