Charlie and Judy Tygard Fund for Bellevue | Established 2017
Charlie and Judy Tygard are committed to Bellevue like few others have been. Longtime residents of the Poplar Creek subdivision, they raised two daughters and owned a business in the community. This fund represents the Tygards’ continuing commitment to Bellevue and the many organizations that have worked hard to create a strong and family-oriented sense of community.
April 2021: Remembering Jenny Tygard
Charlie and Judy’s daughter Jenny passed away unexpectedly early the morning of April 8, 2021. A beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, she was also known as Ms. Tygard to her 5th grade students. Jenny was a teacher at Bellevue Middle School, where she taught English Language Arts and Social Studies.
Gifts made to this fund in memory of Jenny will ultimately support organizations that represent her love of children, her dedication to her students at Bellevue Middle School, and the Bellevue community she has always called home.
