The Compassus CARES, Colleague Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations, is an emergency assistance program funded through team member contributions. Eligible applicants are full or part-time team members of Compassus with 6 months of service and are not on decision making leave that are experiencing financial hardship due to an urgent and unexpected situation.
THE PROGRAM: This Fund helps qualified employees who have experienced natural disaster; life-threatening illness or injury; a death incident; or other certain catastrophic or extreme circumstances beyond their control, and as a result, cannot afford housing, necessary utilities, or other basic living needs.
To qualify for this program and receive assistance you must meet all of the requirements detailed below and submit all required documentation. You can only be approved for assistance once within a 12-month period and a maximum of two times total.
GRANTS: The maximum grant amount available for assistance is $3,000. The maximum award is not guaranteed, and in many cases, a lesser amount will be awarded.
