I Have a Future is a comprehensive teenage pregnancy prevention program that works with male and female youth, 10 to 18 years of age, who reside primarily in the inner-city community houses of Davidson County. The program motivates by preparing youth for college, vocational careers and the immediate job market. Integral to this mission is an increase in their awareness of social and health issues and family values that strengthen the self-esteem necessary to avoid teen pregnancy and other destructive behaviors.
