PENCIL Foundation plays an essential role in Nashville by linking community resources of both volunteers and materials with Metro Nashville Public Schools. PENCIL responds to the needs of Metro Schools, matching over 500 businesses and service organizations with individual schools as PENCIL Partners, collecting donated school supplies for teachers and training volunteer tutors to work with at-risk students. This Endowment Fund was created to ensure the growth of PENCIL’s programs as it serves at-risk youth.
