One day Wilburn Newsom attended a presentation at the Crievewood United Methodist Church, where he heard his friend, Charles Frazier, talk about a new way to give called The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. A few years later, Will and his wife Amber were looking to start a giving vehicle that could include their daughter and might one day encompass a Scholarship Fund. He asked Mr. Frazier about The Foundation, and not long thereafter the Newsom Advised Fund
was ready to make a difference.
