Our scholarship funds provide an opportunity for donors to honor their loved ones, support the hard work of local students and help the next generation of community leaders develop the skills they need to be successful.
Scholarships can be set up with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee according to your goals. They might benefit students from specific geographic areas or schools or those entering certain fields of study or attending particular post-secondary institutions. They may assist students most in need. Whether you want to help a student pursuing veterinary school, honor your mother’s career in teaching or provide assistance to students from your hometown, we can tailor a fund to accomplish your goals.
The Community Foundation manages more than 100 scholarship funds, which have been established by individuals, families, businesses and organizations. Annual scholarship applications are administered according to donors’ criteria, and are reviewed and approved by Community Foundation’s volunteer Scholarship Committee. Awards range from $500 to $5,000 dollars and may be used only for accredited academic institutions.
With a minimum gift of $25,000 to establish your scholarship fund, you can create a lasting legacy, investing charitable dollars directly in the future of deserving students.
