Nearly 800 people gathered on November 10 at the Music City Center as The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee honored Jerry B. Williams at its 24th annual Joe Kraft Humanitarian Award Luncheon, an event to honor the late Nashvillian’s memory and philanthropy.
During the luncheon held in the MCC’s packed Davidson Ballroom, The Foundation recognized Williams, longtime executive director of Leadership Nashville and a former CFMT board chair and current board trustee, who has served in a number of other volunteer leadership positions across Nashville.
Joe Kraft was a Davidson County native and business leader who made Middle Tennessee a better place to live through his dedication to community, home and hearth and individuals in need. As the recipient of the Kraft award, Williams directed a portion of the award’s fund to support charities of her choice.
